Your Association Insurance Plan...

Your association insurance plan offers unique benefits for qualified associations and their members.

Along with property and casualty insurance cost savings for members, the endorsed plan creates a non-dues revenue stream for participating associations.

Members like the plan because their individual coverage is through an insurance agent in their community.

Best of all, the Sponsoring Insurance Agency is responsible for managing the plan, not the association.

FAQs

Q. "How much work is required from the association?"
A.
Most association staffs are already overworked. This is why the Sponsoring Agency is responsible for the plan, working in collaboration with the association executive.

Q. "Can I stay with my current insurance agent?"
A.
Yes, as long as your current agent is licensed by the endorsed company.

Q. "Is this the same as self-insurance?"
A.
No. Although this is a group program, participating members are insured individually and have their own policy. You have all the benefits of a group without the liability of a "self-insurance" group, i.e., premium surcharges and joint and several liability.

Q. "Can all members participate in the plan?"
A.
While not mandatory, all members are eligible. Those wanting to participate must meet basic qualifying criteria acceptable to the insurance company. Since the amount of the dividends depends on lower loss ratios, the insurance company looks for participants with good business practices.

Q. "What is the name of the endorsed insurance company?"
A.
Because of its history and track record of working with associations, Wieczorek Insurance has long-term relationships with highly-rated insurance companies (A or better) that are willing to make commitments to this three-party agreement (association, member and Sponsoring Agency). Wieczorek's expertise allows it to select an insurance company that is the right fit and delivers the best products and services for the association and its members.

Testimonials

Best membership retention tool

Our Sponsoring Agency, Wieczorek Insurance, is a true association partner. They understand our customers and never lose sight of that essential responsibility.

Because they take a long-term approach and manage the plan strategically, insurance rate swings are minimized, which is important for member satisfaction. The excellent dividend program builds significant member loyalty.

We have had the plan since 2001 and it is our best membership retention tool.

Insurance plan hits the mark with association members

As the Sponsoring Agency, Wieczorek Insurance, understands the insurance needs of trade associations and their members and was instrumental in creating a unique insurance product for our association. They recognized the importance of consolidating our members' premium to enhance purchasing power, as well as other incentives.

Since our members are small to mid-sized businesses, they are looking for every possible economic advantage, which is why they find our insurance plan so valuable.

We have had a longstanding relationship with Wieczorek Insurance and look forward to working with them for many years to come.

With offices in Manchester and Keene, NH, The Wieczorek Insurance Agency was founded in 1964 and has earned a reputation as a highly professional and innovative insurance organization.

In 1995, agency president Robert Wieczorek became an innovator and leader in the field of endorsed insurance programs for associations. He recognized the cost-saving benefits of group insurance, along with individual policies and service delivered by local independent insurance agents. To make sure the program continues to grow and is responsive to both associations and their members, it should be overseen by a Sponsoring Insurance Agency.

Working with Wieczorek

Why is it in your association's best interest to partner with Wieczorek Insurance as the Sponsoring Agency for your insurance program?

1. Wieczorek Insurance is the leader. Robert Wieczorek, president of Wieczorek Insurance, developed the concept of an association endorsed insurance plan in 1995 that uses a member’s local insurance agent to sell and service the policy. Members want to do business in their community, not with an impersonal organization via an 800 number. Having a local agent when a loss occurs, for example, can make a world of difference!

2. Wieczorek manages the plan. Through Steven Labbe, the Program Coordinator, Wieczorek is responsible to your association. Wieczorek coordinates the plan with the association and the insurance company to make sure we deliver exactly what you expect.

3. Wieczorek represents a broad range of insurance companies. Every association is unique and that requires matching it with the right insurance company. Because of its long-standing relationships and experience, Wieczorek will facilitate a partnership with the insurance company that best fits your association’s requirements.

4. Because of its experience as a Sponsoring Agency, Wieczorek, knows how to keep a program successful. Wieczorek recognizes that a large percentage of available programs have a high failure rate industry wide. Wieczorek has a unique plan that assures success and the track record to prove it.

Our work begins when you enroll in the plan. That’s when our continuing support proves its value to your association. We resolve issues quickly and provide a level of service that reflects well on your association so participating members are satisfied and others want to be part of the plan.

• In the final analysis, the difference is Wieczorek •
